Bookings for the Scottish Golf Tourism Awards Dinner are accepted as a table booking for 10 people or on an individual basis (min two people). For more details please contact us.
There are still a few rooms left for those wishing to stay at Turnberry Resort. Simply call 0141 353 2222 to book your room. Again we would urge you to book these as soon as possible as there are only a small amount of rooms left.
Below are the various categories that have been voted for and will be presented awards on the night.
The best clubhouse - Which Scottish golf clubhouse do you like best? It must have great facilities on site, good car parking, locker rooms, showers, restaurant, bar, reception and of course friendly and welcoming staff.
The best catering - This is a biggie - which club does the best bacon roll, or the best after-golf lunch, served with a nice cold beer or drink? It should offer a great selection of good quality food at reasonable prices, all served with a smile.
The best pro shop - We all visit the pro shop every time we go to a golf course - but which one do you think is the best? It should have a great selection of goods, including clubs, shoes and apparel. The shop must also be well laid out, welcoming and the professionals on-site must possess a fantastic knowledge of their products and advise customers accordingly.
The best customer service - From the initial contact when booking your golf, to the welcome in the pro shop, to the helpfulness of every member of staff on-site, nothing beats a good service with a smile. Where stands out for you?
The best value for money - Under £50 - This category is a tough one, as we have so many great golf experiences that will set you back less than £50 - but which one sticks out for you?
The best value for money - Over £50 and Under £100 - Again, another tough choice but which club is your pick as a great golf experience for between £50 and £100? There are plenty of deserving candidates. Which one is your favourite? The best value for money - Over £100 - There are a number of world-class venues in Scotland priced above the £100 bracket - but which club do you think offers the best value for money?
The best hotel - Which hotel stands out above the rest? We're talking specifically about places with great golfing traditions, good links to local courses, tee-time booking facilities, and the like. The staff should be golf-friendly, with a good knowledge of golf. And, of course, it also has to have good hotel facilities, too!
The best golf course - Under £50 - Yep, we know - where do you start? If ever there was a country blessed with outstanding golf courses for under £50, it's Scotland. So, have a think about which course truly excels when it comes to layout, condition, greens, history, and overall quality.
The best golf course - Over £50 and Under £100 - This is, quite possibly, the hardest category of all to decide. Nowhere in the world does golf quite like Scotland and with so much value and quality to be had in this price range, picking your best value course between £50 and £100 is going to be a tricky process. Remember, with this category, you are voting on value for money on the golf course alone.
The best golf course - Over £100 - If you thought the last category was hard, this is where it gets really tough. Scotland has an abundance of top quality golf courses for over £100. We have courses that have staged multiple Opens, countless European Tour events, and Ryder Cups. We also have many other courses more than capable of handling the best golfers and the best golf events the world has to offer, not to mention those that are constantly listed at the top end of international course rankings... but which one is your favourite?
